Jed Luckless @ Rock & Race 01.25.15

Here’s a show from throck_race_poster_1.25e Jammin Jed Luckless “Roll Over” Tour, which featured eleven dates at different venues across Secondlife in January and February of 2015 and highlighted original music off Jed’s forthcoming “Roll Over” CD.

This show took place at a new venue in SL, focused around a race track and racing community, but with an amazing stage reminiscent of Red Rocks, thus the name “Rock and Race” for this special stop on the tour. In addition to a beautiful stage and surroundings, the show featured a particle light show by Sky Fire. A great crowd came out for the concert, and the result was a high energy show full of great tunes, hot jams and good times.

Set I goes from zero to sixty with a “Maserati” opener followed by a turbo charged version of “The Race is On.” The tour’s title track “Roll Over” is next, with another couple Jed originals following it. A lengthy cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Eyes Of The World” features a jam tribute to Tangerine Dream, and leads to the set closing original (and JLB favorite) “Far Gone Blues.”

The second set isn’t quite as jammy, but features some great suprises and solid rockers, including several Jed originals, covers of the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, and the set’s centerpiece, the Phish song “Twist” mashed up with The Monkees’ “Steeping Stone” and “Daydream Believer.”

Also included here is the soundcheck jam which featured synths and an abridged version of Phish’s CDT. Enjoy!
